Mao County Water Supply Co., Ltd. was founded in 1979. In April 2004, after the restructuring, the Company was affiliated to the Continental Hope Group, registered in Mao County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with a registered capital of RMB 2 million yuan, and is the only public utility service unit in Mao County that combines the production and supply of water, the construction of municipal water supply pipeline network projects, and the installation and maintenance of user pipelines in an integrated manner.

At present, the company was commissioned by the People's Government of Mao County to operate the new water plant in Mao County, which covers an area of 140.26 acres, the daily production of water supply capacity of 20,000 tons. Production process uses sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, pressurised water supply treatment, and the water quality of the plant is monitored by the Mianyang Tap Water Inspection Centre of the National Water Quality Inspection Network, which is in line with the 106 national drinking water hygiene standards (GB5749-2006). The new water plant set up daily water quality laboratory, strictly in accordance with national standards for daily inspection of 11 water quality indicators to ensure the water safety for residents of Mao County. Water production process uses modern instrumentation self-control system, managed centrally by the central control room, monitored in real time the operating conditions of the production equipment, to fully ensure that the water supply equipment to operate safely and reliably.
