Chemical Industry is the downstream industry of Energy and Chemical Division to build a green circular economy industry chain, which has a sodium chlorate production base, gemstone production base and sales company, and sodium chlorate products widely used in pulp, water treatment, perchlorate, electronics, chemical industry, metallurgy and other industries; gemstone products are used in precision gemstone components, watch mirrors, optical windows, special abrasives and jewellery decoration and other industries. The "Hope Deepblue" sodium chlorate products have passed the IS09001:2015 quality certification, the enterprise has advanced equipment, strict management, and the product quality has reached the national standard of I-type superior indicators, and its technical leader is one of the five-member expert group of the inorganic salt industry of the Chinese Society of Chemical Industry. The products sell well both at home and abroad, and we have established long-term cooperative relationship with Double A of Thailand, APP of Indonesia, and Prince Paper of Japan.

Chemical Industry Gansu Region under the Energy and Chemical Division is committed to the efficient development of salt resources and comprehensive use of science and technology-based chemical industry. It has a technical research and development team led by academician Wang Shuangfei of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the team's research and development achievements in the industry have won the second prize for national technological invention in 2019, which is the highest level of awards won by the industry at present, and it holds six national invention patents and utility model related to the production and manufacture of sodium chlorate, potassium perchlorate, hydrogen peroxide, and so on. It is at the first-class level in China in terms of core devices and key technologies. It adopts advanced evaporation technology to recover and reuse the by-product brine in the production of potassium perchlorate, realising zero wastewater discharge in the joint production of sodium chlorate-potassium perchlorate, and completely solving the problem of wastesalt discharge that has plagued the industry for many years.
